Your home, reimagined

All Seasons Consignment opens in North Hampton

The process of decluttering your home or putting it on the market can be a daunting and difficult task for some people. For Brian and Helena Mills, it’s not only a business model but a shared passion.

Through their company, All Seasons Consignment, the Mills offer an all-encompassing service for those looking to sell or remodel their homes. All Seasons has been providing consignment, furniture and collectibles, home staging, packing, decluttering and international shipping since December and currently works throughout New England.

For homeowners who are looking to list their property for sale, All Seasons’ goal is to make the home appealing to all buyers through staging, which includes removing clutter, organizing furniture and showing off the best parts of the home.

Though All Seasons is a small operation, the Mills have a big purpose.

“We really want to be something that benefits the community,” said Brian Mills. “We miss the mom-and-pop type of shops. They’re a dying breed, and we want to be a light in the community.”

In addition to prepping homes for sale, All Seasons offers services for the sole purpose of revitalizing a space. This particular service is for people who seek a fresh start or want the feeling of living in a new home.

Brian Mills stressed the importance of making your home an escape from the daily grind of life.

“When we come home, it has to be a place of refuge,” Brian Mills said. “That’s your peace.”

With a hardworking team and a natural vision for remodeling, All Seasons is prepared to work closely with anything that falls in their hands.

“Helena is one of those people who can go into a room that looks like a bomb hit it and can already see the finished product,” Brian said. “She has such a talent for that.”

Helena Mills, who has been staging homes for 20 years, says a new perspective is often the best thing for people who want to transform their homes.

“Sometimes you just need a different eye,” she said.

A complete overhaul can be frightening to some people, and All Seasons takes this factor into careful consideration.

“We try to be very sympathetic about how they could react,” Helena Mills said. “They have a lot of memories in their homes. We want to make their experience very positive.”

After a three-month hiatus due to the Covid-19 crisis, All Seasons reopened on June 15. Social distancing guidelines have been implemented in their store in North Hampton, including sanitization and requirement of a mask upon entering.

“We do everything to help the client feel completely relaxed,” Helena Mills said.

Patrons of the store can purchase various furniture and collectables, or begin planning their steps for a home makeover.

“We love meeting people, traveling all over New England and picking up unique pieces; that’s really what we’re all about,” Brian Mills said.
